Details
Physical properties of Povidone K90
White or milky powder, and colorless or slight yellow transparent liquid. It can dissolve in water and variety of organic solvents, such as grain alcohol, isopropanol or chloroform, but not in acetone or diethyl ether. Polymers with molecular weight under 30,000 can be excreted by the human kidney. It is generally used in cosmetics, surfactants, pharmaceuticals.

Application
Pharmaceutical:
Povidone is a new and excellent pharmaceutical excipient. It is mainly used as binder for tablet and
pellet, dissolving assistant for injection, flowing assistant for capsule, dispersant for liquid medicine and
pigment, stabilizer for enzyme and heat sensitive drug, coprecipitant for poorly soluble drug, lubricator
